[TenTec] Blue screen of death Orion 1

After playing with the new software and deciding it sounded "off" (clicking  
in the headphones, fuzzy CW note, too much noise), I decided to do a RAM reset 
=  ON + VFOB LOCK.  
 
The radio did its master reset but after starting to boot up the screen  went 
blank - dead - nada - nothing works - no sound - no nothing.  I have  tried 
another RAM reset and a Master Reset but still get the blank screen.
 
Ideas?
