[TenTec] Blue screen of death

Buck,

I have done the master reset and the "Battery failure" reset a number of
times. It worked fine with 2.059d. Hmmmm. I tried various versions of the
software last night including 1.373b5 to see the display brightness as well
of checking the audio raspy sound. I wanted to be sure it was not something
in the radio that was creating the raspy sound. It now appears that the
raspy sound is related to noise in the receiver from my big screen TV. The
software does not seem to like a bunch of other stuff with the signal. It
almost sounds like the hardware noise blanker is on and a strong signal is
near by. The TV is off this morning and things are smooth sounding. The
problem is not present in earlier versions of the software.

73,
John

I was able to recover the radio by reloading the software. So, I would not

suggest anyone try a Ram reset as that function appears to be broken.
