OOPs, guess I'm not a *real* ham anymore.  I readily admit to being an
appliance operator these days, due to a combination 
of failing eyesight and a work travel schedule that gets me home for two
weekends a month.
I do think however, that earning my bsee was just a tad more difficult
technically than passing the extra class exam.
