[TenTec] Slaving radios

Good morning all,

Does anyone know if the new Omni VII with all its features and control stuff can allow two of them to be slaved together...so that anything done by one will echo on the other via CAT5 cable or some other means? 

Or does it just work via control software and the internet?  A friend of mine would like to know.  He would trench the cable about 1200 feet if it'll work.
