Re: Orion sidetone problem.

I will send a report to Ten Tec detailing this problem.  It would make sense 
if all who are troubled by it do the same.

The harmonic content in my sidetone has diminished significantly since 
carrying out a further reload.  Consequently, I propose viewing this 
particular aspect as an abberation at this stage.  The focus from my pov 
will therefore be the tail-end clicking (or smucking?).

There can now be little doubt that this particular concern arises out of a 
change in levels in the headphone audio chain.  I have attached my 
headphones to the external speaker socket and can confirm a complete absence 
of clicks.  Of course, the output is monaural.

I too notice a difference in the AF gain taper with this release. It may be 
that whatever gave rise to this, is also causing the sidetone click problem 
when using headphones.
