Right  I fussed with a couple of USB converters on XP and worked FB. 
However most USB converters won't do RTTY (see the rtty sites about all of
this) so I got my self a 4port PCI serial card ($33) and now run the OMNI+
and Orion both at the same time (one com port for control and another port
for PTT and FSK for each rig).  Run two copies of HRD and MMTTY so I can
work myself all from the same computer if I wish.

Ordering cards and cables on line only takes a couple of days to get them.
