[TenTec] Argo 509 Info

Finally--after a year--I returned to the 509 and did the PTO rebuild, 
which I started last Jan 19.  That's quick for me, and all is well with 
the PTO.

However--after some listening and messing around, I have concluded that
the audio quality and AGC action could use some help.  My memory says that
someplace I saw a couple mods to address audio and AGC issues in the 509.

Well, I Googled myself to boredom, and now I come to the well seeking
advice.  Anybody have info which will save me from re-inventing the wheel?
