Yes, I purchased the 311 Band Data Converter from Ten Tec a few weeks ago.
Its designed to convert the Orion band switching logic to the Omni VI band
switching logic.  Basically it comes with the cable to connect it to the
Orion, and then you make up a cable to go from the 311 converter to the
Hercules II.  It took about 1/2 hr to make the cable (DB25 to Molex) and
works like a champ.  You just put the Hercules II in remote mode and it auto
switches as you change bands on the Orion.

Thanks for all the replies to my Hercules II post.  I think I'll make up a
box like Allan suggests to act as a switch on the TX IN line from the Orion.
All the other tips were great!
