As far as I know, the firmware version doesn't make any difference.

It's an OMNI VI Plus.? I've never heard anybody ask about firmware versions before and I've had OMNI VI Plus rigs for 15 or so years.

The OMNI VII or Jupiter, yes.? That makes a difference.

Our club is considering selling an Omni-VI PLus transceiver and power supply we 
acquired from the original owner which works and looks FB but will be surplus to 
our needs. The rig has the 1.8 SSB filter and the manuals. Is there a way to 
find out the version of the firmware so we can tell potential customers? I dont 
see anything in the manual as far as a menu item, etc.
