Same deal here. Compared to my OMNI C and A, the no signal noise is 
quite high.  I also agree that when we activate either the NR or NB the 
signal becomes a little distorted.  It is especially noticeable on CW.  
Using the OMNI C I always had to turn the volume way up while tuning the 
resonator to see if the receiver was even working.  I also have a 
Pegasus and the NR and NB on that rig seem to be much better in not 
distorting the received signal. I also notice the distortion when using 
the fast AGC and sometimes the medium AGC. I think it is just something 
we have to live with with a DSP receiver.  I have found that if I reduce 
the RF gain it becomes a little more tolerable to listen to the band 
with no signals present.  Can't wait to try her out in a CW contest to 
see what happens there.
