A couple of small engine spark plugs mounted on a metal plate that is part
of the ground system will solve the problem. Total cost should be less than
$5. With a 0.035" to 0.050" gap they should handle legal limits with no
problems. And they will drain off the static buildup that has been known to
damage radios.
