[TenTec] Hooking up Omni VII to computer ---direct--- how?

We gave up using wireless in my office -- 4 of us working simultaneously
would overwhelm it. Our app is data intensive -- so is my son's online
video gaming. I had many talks with our IT guy. Consumer grade routers
just aren't up to the task. There are commercial units costing $$$ that
can do it. Hardwire was somewhere between 4 and 10 times faster than
our wireless setup. We have had no more pauses when multiple users are
accessing the database at the same time now that we are hard wired.
This was with Wireless G routers. Wireless N may be up to it but I
haven't tried any of them since our laptops don't support it and early
units were a bit flakey. Last I heard wireless N hadn't been
finalized. If the specs change then your equipment could become
suddenly obsolete. (I know that is unlikely at this point.)
