Thomas:

My computer is really acting up (its the laptop that was struck by lightning in March)--so now I am not certain what your question was--and what the answer was. Can you please take the time to send me directly a very short summation of the question, and also a short summary of the answer? I am also interested in the names/numbers of the so-called "roofing filtres" for the OMNI VI+. I have never ever heard of them for the VI+. I will surely be in your debt. Am seriously considering trying to find one again, if I can find the funds.

I had to let mine go sometime ago, and really would like to find one again, as it looks like I will likely never recover from cancer and will be confined to this wheelchair for the remaining days of my life. Having the OMNI VI+ would be very useful, as it can do so many things, so very well. And of course the huge front panel and big knobs are much easier for me to manage one-handed, obviously.

Thanks in advance, if you have time to write. And if you prefer to call, my phone is 505-366-7182. I am just east of ABQ, in the East Mountains, up nearly 7000'. Maybe we can get all these questions answered in 5 minutes or less. I would pay for the phone call, if only I had your *your* phone number...

73,
--Doc/K0EVZ
