I have the Heil proset 5 and had to swap the shield braid and black ground 
wire pin placement on the Yaesu adaptor to eliminate AM broadcast leaking 
into my audio monitor on my Orion II. However I am also now running a heil 
GM-5  with the same Yaesu adaptor  mic plug on my O2 with no problems 
whatsoever. Sometimes Heil's quality control comes into question. 73, KT0DD
