Lou,

For simple straight forward logging with automated features, I use
XMLog. It reads my Jupiter for frequency and mode and will interface
with qrz.com for QSL info purposes.

The site http://xmlog.com/ says it will work with most of the current
TenTec rigs, and will export/import in the adif format for transferring
information to and from N1MM, WriteLog, or most other good logging
programs such as Ham Radio Deluxe.

I have used N1MM for logging during ARRL Sweepstakes, but for Day-to-day I have been hand logging. I would much prefer to have a simple logging program for day-to-day that can control the radio as well as fill in some information as read from the radio. I would prefer something free, or low cost.
