I'm not Carter obviously, but yes, he is right.

When I worked for Kodak we made copiers, and we had to massively filter the
output cooling air
so that all ozone was removed.  It is law.  The studies show that ozone is
harmful to your health, both short term and also if you have chronic
exposure.

I can't imagine how in hell they can sell these things.  I've often
wondered.  Maybe they have to limit the output.
