remember comparing the OII with an old collins isn't really fair - it's old school vs new school - like apples and oranges. run the OII's receiver against a more modern receiver such as the aor 7030 (less than half the price) or the icom R75 (1/4 the price) - i guarantee - with all things considered equal that the aor and r75 will hear everything the 4000.00 + ten tec OII will hear. in fact i would take the 7030plus over the OII - especially on MW and LW.> From: Kc9cdt at aol.com> Date: Fri, 30 May 2008 22:30:36 -0400> To: tentec at contesting.com> Subject: Re: [TenTec] DX radios> > Ron,> You are very correct...
