[TenTec] Orion II max Power

Increase it above the nominal 100W that it is designed to output? Why?
Even if he could double the power to 200W (there's no way it would do this)
he would only increase the signal at the other end by 3 dB, theoretically.
That's about half an S-unit. I don't see the reason, and it would certainly
reduce the life of the final power FET's.

Subject: [TenTec] Orion II max Power

Hello
A fellow amateur who owns an Orion II wants to ask the group here(he doesn't
speak English well) ,if anyone knows how
much he can increase the output power of the radio. We found the way to do
that from TENTECwiki, but we don't know what is the max power you can
achieve.
I told him that this is not a good idea, but he insists.
(I will not touch my Orion II )
Any help ,welcome.
