Dan have you tried the receive antenna switch on the rear of the rig?  I no longer have my Omni V but I think turning the switch on and off a few times may resolve your problem.

My OMNI V is having a problem.
I turn it on and no receive on any band.
I do get full RF output on all bands and the rig switches from  transmit to
receive and back but no audio.
However, if I flip rig on and off a couple of times all is normal on  receive
on all bands.
If I turn it off after a few minutes and turn it back on no receive  again.
A couple of on and offs and it works again.
When dead I hear very weak signals and s meter shows 20 db down.
Seems like a relay or a bad connection maybe to the IF/AF board.
Any of you guys had this problem?
