[TenTec] New Jupiter firmware update

I've read the Ten-Tec online material about the new CW personality upgrade for existing Jupiters, but I'm not sure on some things:

1. Is the PLD upgrade software included in the Version 1.30 software download? Or, are they two separate downloads?

2. Is a new memory chip needed in the Jupiter?

It seems to read like everything is taken care of by the PLD download but then it mentions replacing a chip. What gives?

Can anybody help me understand this?
