Gee, I got a SPECIFIC serial number on my K-3 just by asking for it !! 
Wowsers, isn't that neat :-)

Ahh, who cares ..................... probably my CAT :-)

Does it work any better because it has a SPECIFIC serial number

Speaking of Yaecomwood, the sent me a second NEW FT-1000MP when the first 
one had arrived DOA and the second one has worked fine ever since! Do I know 
the serial number ............. ahh NO !

Do I care ................ ahh NO ! Bet the CAT does though, but she is 
sleeping in the sun right now, warming her bones for winter!

Hmmm, try calling Yaecomwood and demanding a specific serial number be 
shipped to you... The next sound you will hear is them falling on their
