Many hams will list their rig in this reflector, on QRZ.com or qth.com with the caveat, "pickup only". Then you can demo the rig with the potential purchaser. I sold my last 2 Omni VI Opt 3's that way and had happy customers. You may be surprised how far someone will drive for that deal, or how many local guys may be interrested. Not only that, but the purchaser having operated the rig has little recourse to say that it didn't work. Just my opinion

p.s. unfortunately, the unscrupulous buyers and sellers that we have to deal with are not about "ham radio" but rather are about these times. Sad to say.
