Just to be accurate, here is some text extracted from the article Louis
Varney wrote in his later years on his G5RV antenna:
this is on the web if you search "G5RV Antenna Louis Varney". So, Louis
did mention other bands than 20m later in this article, including 80,
40, 30, 20, 18, 21, 24, and 28 MHz. 20 was his primary design point,
but he recognized it could be used on other bands.

*"G5RV Multi-Band Antenna** by Louis Varney,*

** *taken from (RADIO COMMUNICATIONS, JULY 1984)

THE G5RV ANTENNA, with its special feeder arrangement, is a multiband
centre-fed antenna capable of very efficient operation on all hf bands
from 3.5 to 28mhz, specifically designed with dimensions which allow it
to be installed in gardens which accommodate a reasonably-straight run
of about 102ft (31.1m) for the "flat-top"."
