You might try a battery reset then a master reset. then try re flashing the Orion II

Be very careful guys, I now cannot get the previous version to work.
Downloads to the O2 OK, but the controls do not work. Guess it's back to

On the phone with TT, he suggested various reset sequences but the load
won't work. Said file might have been corrupted and to download it again,
still no luck. Now reverting back to previous version, hope I didn't crash
my radio. Could someone give me that download site again just to be sure?

Well not having a lot of luck here. Somehow crashed the O2 first time
trying with an old serial card in the PC, and it was very slow. Got a USB
to serial converter and it flashed in about 5 mins this time but nothing in
the radio works, no knob, no buttons, and the display reads all zeros
frequency. Am trying the flash again. Stay tuned. So far I am
underwhelmed.

Same here, but doesn't seem to have detrimental effects other than you
have to twist up the AF encoder...
