OK John, I understand, but.....  there is this little thing from Griffin
Technologies (USB device) which is programmable and lets me adjust the
AF and RF gain with a KNOB!  Or the frequency if you desire.  But the
mouse tuning is incredible - scroll with the mouse wheel on the
frequency readout (by digit, so you can change freq by any increment),
scroll on the spectrum display, drag the spectrum display, use the
keyboard, or click on a signal on the panadaptor to bring the frequency
to that signal.

I used to be a confirmed knober too and swore I would never get a Flex,
but after I tried one, I was hooked.
