[TenTec] New Firmware

Several people on this very reflector have claimed they e-mailed key
people within TenTec and received no reply.

And why not kill several birds with one stone and just have a
representative from TenTec address the concerns via the reflector?

I've said it time in and time out, if my Omni VII never improves with
firmware updates, it'll still be a fine rig. But it'll be contrary to
their enthusiasm about the ability to upgrade/add/change features when
they first added that ability to their later models.

A little transparency would likely go a long way.
