Actually, I think this is good!  Ten Tec has, as we have all been wishing, 
gone back to allowing beta testing of their firmware.  500 hams using the 
radio 500 different ways are likely to find every bug out there in a matter 
of days, which we have!

I'm convinced that the code has been cleaned up allowing other existing 
lines of code to run better.  The NR definately works better QSK has been 
improved, headphone level improved, and AM is more stable, although I would 
love to see someone do some objective testing between the two versions. 
Having the AF AGC option is great, especially since you don't need to 
restart the radio as we were told.

BTW...I ran 455 QSO's running a full 100 Watts in the NAQP RTTY SOLP over 
the weekend with not a single problem.
