Yes Carl.  Rebooting the Orion (after closing the rig control and logging software) rejuvenates the rig and it's back to normal.

What happens if you just turn the radio off and then back on?  Does that get 
it working again?

seems the radio works, but not with someone else's software, so that means
it's a problem with
Ten-Tec's software????
Call  N4PY seems more appropriate
