[TenTec] 509 Update

The filter jammed inside this 509 was a MFJ CW-2 unit.  It was wired into
the accessory socket in place of the jumper between pins 4 and 5.  Two
switches were mangled into the front panel.  The whole setup could have been
mounted in a little box and wires run to the accessory and 12v sockets ad
eliminated the front panel damage.  The AGC mod was a switch added to the
back panel with a 220 mfd cap.  C16 (125 mfd) cap was raised off the board
and wired to the switch.  Seems like AGC was obtained by switching between
the two caps.  Both mods have been removed and five holes plugged with J-B
Weld.  ON-OFF switch is in constant ON mode.
 
Smoke residue has been removed.  Need dial cord assembly, accessory plug,
and volume control/switch.  Will see what Ten-Tec has to offer this morning.
Hopefully the model store will have some similar paint for the panel plugs.
