[TenTec] Orion II shuts down

My Orion II recently started shutting down every so often.

The shut down happens while transmitting regardless of mode.  Most often it
happens on the first "dit".  The transceiver shuts down and then turns it
self back on.  On shut down the display and meter light go off.  There's a
loud audio pop as it happens that is startling.

Once in a while it shuts down like that and does not turn itself back on.
When that happens, I can not turn the O2 back on.  It sits dead.  After 10
to 15 minutes I can turn it back on as if nothing ever happened.

In both cases the O2 remembers all the settings it last had.

This has been going on for the last two days.  I am using the external O2
cooling fan.

Any ideas?
