Bill, the odds are that it is the infamous Molex connector...  My radio did that right out of the box as a brand new radio...
Tighten the female pins by squeezing and gently spread the male pins slightly so that they maintain firm contact with the sides of the female pins and see if the problem ceases...
If not, then look hard at your power supply...
