Brian,
If you go to the TT site, and to the download section, I recall seeing the 
omni VI plus manual.  However, I too have an omni VI-3 and the manual has 
the addendum.  As I remember you had to read closely to determine the button 
changes.  There are several changes in the menu you should be familiar with. 
You'll need to go into the menu to change some of the defaults, such as 
those for the LP button.  You can set this wherever you like as a cuttoff. 
The NR is the DSP noise reduction.  Some of the others changed too and 
should be outlined in the addendum.
As for the filters, I have no idea why someone would want 3 2.4 filters in 
the rig in the 9mhz if.  You should have a 2.4 under the panel (can't see it 
unless you remove it) and two others N-1 and N-2.  The under the other panel 
is another 2.4 and then the 6.3 slots.   If you get new filters, get Inrad. 
This depends on your operating mode and style.
