John, it is the slide switch I was referring to.  I use a small screwdriver 
if you can't slide it with your finger.  It is recessed somewhat as I 
remember.
The screwdriver is to just get traction on the switch,  I used to slide it 
back and forth several times once in a while to clean the contacts..  73 Ed
