A remote tuning knob is a must for me, also. I made my own, using a Ten-Tec encoder and knob with an LMB Heeger model MDC432 enclosure. I prefer its ergonomics to those of the Ten-Tec remote pod, and don't need the latter's buttons. Tony - W1OT
