I second Barry's opinion. I've used a K3 for extended periods of times during contests and find the RX to not be fatiguing.

I've got an Orion and a K3 side-by-side.  The Orion has the most luscious rx
audio I've ever heard.  However, the K3 isn't that far behind.  Folks seem
to love to pass around this rumor about "fatiguing" audio from the K3 - it's
a bunch of mularkey.
