Thanks to all for your replies, Thanks to Tony at TenTec for his patience and help. Seems my firmware v 1.371 was hung up or had some sort of clich for lack of better word. After spending hours trying different com port settings etc etc. I called TenTec and explained my issue, Tony recommended a ram clear and master  reset. After this I was able to upload newer verion of firmware. Thanks again .
