[TenTec] digital

There are lots of 'interface boxes' on the market that can send audio
between your computer and radio, although in my experience, they're not
really needed. The Orion II has audio inputs and outputs on the back panel
that can tie directly to your computer sound card. Make sure everything in
the shack is grounded together to avoid RF feedback and ground loops. For
most modes, VOX is all you need for transmit/receive switching, although you
can easily build a simple one-transistor interface to use a serial or
parallel port to operate the PTT.

BTW, the Orion II is a spectacular radio for digital modes!
