[TenTec] #422B Centurion Linear Amp......ARCING problem

I have been an avid Ten-Tec fan and user (until this day) for 35+ years.
I also helped found the Ten-Tec distribution in Germany.

BUT, you are being unfair to elecraft.
They have the same energetic support for their customers as Ten-Tec has.

I have no experience with Flex, but I can imagine they are good too, because
"THAT'S THE AMERICAN WAY"!

Some people "fly the flag" because they are gung ho and naïve.
I fly the flag because our great equipment is backed up by great support
that I can rely upon.

I still continue to wonder why so many people ask questions here before
consulting Ten-Tec direct.
Ten Tec did not invent great support.
Collins and Drake had it long before Ten-Tec, but Ten-Tec continued this
tradition long after the first two were dead in the ham radio arena.
Luckily elecraft has adopted it too.

To all reading this: Ten Tec is the only amateur radio manufacturer I am
aware of that has a live body answering the phone. Furthermore, you speak to

a highly competent staff member either in sales or repair.

I have called the "competition" on the west coast (starts with a Y) and what

a cluster (fill in the rest).

I can't comment on the folks at Flex or Elecraft.
