To answer Wes's question, and others.
We are looking at what improvements are needed in the original Orion.
Once we plan out what that will entail, we will generate a new
firmware, test it, give it to a few beta testers, and if it passes the
muster, we will release it to the general public, just as we have with
the Orion 2.
We are looking at known issues specific to the original Orion, and
what changes we have made in the Orion 2 can be carried over into the
original Orion.
As of yet, I don't know if this will involve changes to both the Orion
V1 framework or only the Orion V2 framework.  It is fairly easy to
port changes from Orion 2 into Orion 1 V2 firmware, but quite a nasty
deal to do much with the Orion V1 framework. But time will tell.

As of now, I don't know exactly which changes will make it in, but the
evaluation process is kicking off. But I can't comment on any expected
completion date yet, as I have found out all too well, with the Orion
architctures, it takes what it takes. And if I try to push it, it
breaks apart.

Now, off to get ready for a show my wife is having tomorrow in
Sevierville, Summerfest, a new antique car show occurring once a
month. My wife is a local crafter and sells all kinds of handmade
dolls/soap/etc at these shows.... (sorry for the shameless
self-promotion, lol)
