[TenTec] Sidetone only for Omni 6+ in CW mode?

I checked my VI with a sensitive output meter - with the "power" pot at full 
CCW and even with quite a few degrees CW from the stop the pin stayed at 
zero.  Not that switching the antenna to dummy load can do any harm, of
