[TenTec] Dial lamps variations

A trick one can do with dial lamps to get a spread of illumination:

Before the led days, they used to use aircraft lamps such as the 327, 
and drill a hole for it in the edge of clear plexiglas to make a light 
guide to direct light where you wanted to illuminate.  Tricks like this 
may be done with special lighting jobs like a meter, if it is not too 
big, and of plastic construction
