Hi, Carl
You've just given me a good reason to upgrade my N4PY software for
the Orion II. Whats the cost, and do you now take paypal? This sounds
exactly what I want to do with my Flex 5k and the Orion II. I can combine
the best of both!

I now have a new capability with my N4PY software and any radio supported by

N4PY software such as the Tentec Omni VII and Jupiter. If you add a Flex
radio to the mix (and this could even be a used SDR-1000 1 watt version for
around $200, or the new Flex-1500 for $579 from Flex Radio), the N4PY
program will allow these radios to be combined such that the Flex radio can
provide a 48 khz to 192 khz wide panadapter display. The panadapter display

will follow the main radio giving a highly detailed view of the area around
the frequency of the main radio. You can also click on the panadapter
display and the main radio will instantly tune to the frequency you have
just clicked. And the Flex radio can also serve as a sub-receiver and
provide dual receive.

There is a nice screen shot of this function at www.n4py.com
