I find that eBay is just like Wal-Mart in that just because it is sold 
there, it is not necessarily cheaper than anywhere else.  For example, I 
have seen the Yaesu FT-817ND for sale used on eBAY for around six hundred 
dollars when HRO has them new for $580.
