Ladderline behaves differently from coax, and there might be a small 
impedance "bump" if you turn it abruptly through 90 degrees; however, in 
many ladderline applications that wont matter. It certainly wont be an 
issue if you are using the ladderline to feed a multiband doublet.

Unlike coax, a ladderline's RF field is not contained totally within the 
cable, so you should keep it away from parallel conducting materials; a 
safe distance is 3-4 times the ladderline wire separation.
