You could easlily get them back! There's plenty around.
AND yep, they still work quite well, and easliy fixed by yourself.
The analog tuning is so much nicer than the digital. In short time I 
can check out the band and grab a signal!
Much, much faster than with my OII. :-)

To Lee. I traded the TR-4 and a few other items for the Yaesu Quadra.

And, the Quadra is broke as of about 6 months ago. The TR-4 never broke.
Rig now is the FT-1000MP and an Alpha 89. I wish I had held on to the 
TR-4
and the SB-220.
