[TenTec] Corsair question

Jerry,

It's a mistake to confuse the simple "9MHz IF with 5-5.5MHz LO" mixing
scheme with the one used in the Corsair.

In the Corsair we have:
RF = LO - IF for all bands 160m thru 30m, and
RF = LO + IF for the higher bands, if we ignore the 17m anomaly.

The minus sign before the IF for the LF bands causes the sideband inversion.

As I said before, the classic 9MHz IF with 5-5.5MHz LO mixing
arrangement is:

RF = IF - LO for 80m, and
RF = IF + LO for 20m

Those are quite different schemes as far as IF/RF frequency inversion is
concerned.
