[TenTec] QRP transceivers

IIRC, the MFJ flavor has more bands on it than the two Ten-Tec ones.

So technically, since they are different radios and slightly different designs...

Hey, it works for the big box stores. Ever notice the fine print when they advertise that they'll "match or beat" prices on a given appliance? The fine print usually says only for the same make & model, then you find out BBS 1 is selling model XYZ-123A, but BBS 2 is selling almost identical model XYZ-A123... Not the same model, though...

And FWIW, the Elecraft KX-1 has a similar look and feel. Coincidence? Or common design heritage?

I thought TT had an exclusive on that.
Apparently not.

BTW, I'm still waiting for someone to bring out a QRP Antenna.
You know what I mean, the kind that fits inside the living room and is just
6dB down on the beam on top of your tower.

Has anyone else noticed the rather close resemblance between the TT
R4020 CW QRP transceiver and the MFJ-92xx QRP CW transceiver ? Do ya
suppose they share some genetic lineage?
