Look into PDF Creator, which is a free application from SourceForge.net

It doesn't do everything the full blown Acrobat does, but it comes very
close, and the price is right!

That's fine, Rick, if you already have Adobe Acrobat.  The best price I 
can find on Amazon
is about $110, for a student/instructor edition of Acrobat 
Professional.  Going to the full-
blown product is about $400.

Aren't the individual issues of CQ, as well as the Zinio Reader, your to 
keep for all time?
The only upside that I can see to converting to PDF is the ability to 
read the magazines
on my Tablet as well as my computer.  And doesn't Zinio support the use 
on as many as
three devices?

BTW, unless I was dreaming, I recall that Ed Hare at ARRL mentioned on 
another list that
QST in digital format was a concept that was on the table.
