Here a some other options:

Both of these have a single input and programmable offsets.

The AADE DFD-2 would be my choice because it will count the HFO and PTO 
and will internally subtract PTO from HFO to give the signal frequency 
without the need for the operator to change offsets when changing 
bands.  I'd like to try one on my Hammarlund HQ-100A and on  the Century 
22.  I would want to find a way to bring the signals out without 
drilling extra holes in the rear panel, though.  The DFD-2 could 
actually be mounted inside the Century 22 in place of the analog dial, 
but I wouldn't want to destroy the "character" of the rig.

I have an SB-650 mated to my HW-100, but its a bit of a pain. Every time 
I use it I have to open it up and reseat or replace a chip or two. There 
is quite a bit of jitter on the 100 Hz digit, but, well, its a piece of 
history!
