The 'photo negative' is the main reason I didn't like it since everyone is 
used to the PSK-31 waterfalls that usually have a dark background and a 
lighter signal trace.  It's possible that TT tried the dark background, but 
for some reason it didn't show right on the screen.  Also, the old version 
had a problem with both the sweep and the S-meter freezing when you were 
tuning.  They un-froze when you stopped, but it was annoying  I guess they 
went 'back to basics' and opted for something that was unconditionally 
stable for now.
